Learning is a collaborative process and always has been. Although classroom instruction provides students with subject familiarity, a struggling student knows this isn't enough. That collaborative element is missing. Students can pay attention, read the textbook, and attempt the assigned work, but they'll never have the chance to uncover and address what eludes them.
